Description
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide funding for individuals who wish to obtain a college education (Associate degree or Bachelor degree) or technical training in the trades, nursing, allied health fields, Pre-K-12 education and certificate degree programs. Applicants must be graduating seniors or graduates of Lakeview Schools, or currently live in Lakeview School District. Considerations are: a combination of academic achievement, extracurricular activities, work history and essay responses. All other considerations equal, financial need may be considered. Applicants are also asked to submit one (1) letter of recommendation from a school official or employer attesting to the applicant’s attendance, responsibility, communication skills, cooperation, and service to the community. Previous recipients may reapply.
