Scholarship Eligibility & Criteria
Two camp scholarships are given annually to one male and one female student in grades 8-11, living in the Lakeview School District. A statement is required of the student, indicating desire to better his/her athletic skills in a sport offered at Lakeview High School. A letter of recommendation is needed from a present or former coach.
Reasonable need for financial assistance is required.
Applicants are also required to submit a photo of themselves, which may be used in LSEF publications in the event that they receive a scholarship.
If there are no applicants for the scholarship, family members may apply.
Award
Two camp scholarships shall be awarded annually. The Selection Committee shall determine the amount according to the net earnings generated by the principal. The award shall be announced at the end of the school year. Renewal consideration shall be given to applicants in grades 9-11.

Deadline
The deadline for application is May 30. Selection process should be completed in time for camp registration.
