The Marie and Frank Eldridge Memorial Scholarship was established in 1989 by Pat Fosdick and Richard Eldridge to honor their parents.
The Eldridges were active in the Lakeview community, longtime supporters of Lakeview High School and loyal fans of Lakeview Spartan athletic teams. As Spartans sports boosters, the Eldridges offered encouragement to many young student athletes. Marie and Frank Eldridge had a special pride and affection for Lakeview. Applicants must be Lakeview High School graduating seniors or past graduates that demonstrate high citizenship; participate in one or more varsity sports, and achieve average or above average academic grades.
This Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating Lakeview High School senior to assist them in pursuing higher education. The scholarship recipient is selected based on outstanding citizenship, participation in varsity athletics, academic achievement and personal recommendations of a teacher, counselor and coach.
