Alisa earned a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in speech language pathology from Bowling Green State University.
She worked for the Calhoun Intermediate School District as a speech pathologist for 18 years. Fifteen years were spent in the Lakeview School District working with students at Prairieview and Westlake Elementary.
Alisa and her husband Ben, have two sons. One attends Lakeview High School and the other one attends Lakeview Middle School.
Her interests include photography, spending time with family, traveling, and supporting her children in all of their activities.
She became a trustee of the Lakeview Schools Educational Foundation October 2023.
