Fin’s Journalism Fund Application
The purpose of the Fin’s Journalism Fund for Log is to aid and enhance the journalism program at Lakeview High School by providing grants for newspaper program needs. Grants from this fund may be used for purposes including, but not limited to the following examples:
- Equipment needs, such as cameras and other equipment essential to production
- Supplies such as folders, markers, press passes, posters, staff shirts, and design software
- Teambuilding activities for newspaper staff
- Grants to support newspaper staff (both student staff and professional staff) attendance at workshops including but not limited to the MIPA Summer Journalism Workshop at MSU.
Following is a listing of specific purposes for which grants may not be made:
- Scholarships for individuals
- Direct cost of production
