Glenn Schulz was the Athletic Director at Lakeview from 1985-1997. He had a great passion for both the school district and the athletes he supported. The Glenn Schulz Memorial Athletic Fund is dedicated in honor of Glenn and his time spent as the athletic director at Lakeview. The contributions of this fund will go towards helping high school athletes who need financial support to play sports. This would include supporting athletes for pay-to-play initiatives, athletic equipment, student transportation, etc.
Fund Purposes
Grants from this fund may be used for the following purposes: To support the Lakeview School District Athletic Department and participation by high school students in grades 9-12.
- Subsidizing the cost of participation in the program by reducing the pay to play fee for participants based on financial need.
- Purchasing equipment for individual or team use (i.e., tennis rackets, baseball gloves, cleats & spikes / running shoes, etc.).
- Student transportation needs.
Following is a listing of specific purposes for which grants may not be made:
- Grants may not be made directly to students seeking assistance.
An annual distribution, equal to the Foundation’s annual spendable calculation, will be made to the Lakeview School District Athletic Department to support the purpose of the fund as stated above.
