Susan is a lifelong resident of Lakeview graduating from Lakeview High School in 1955. She and her husband Al have 4 married children and 13 grandchildren. She has a bachelor’s degree from CMU and a master’s from WMU, both in elementary education. Having been an educator for 35 years she is very invested in the schools. Twenty-nine of her teaching years have been in the Lakeview School District.
After retirement she was an intern coordinator for WMU interns in Lakeview schools. Her volunteer activities include helping at the Franklin Food pantry, distributing materials for the Kindergarten Enrichment Program, serving on the Lakeview Schools Educational Foundation Board, and weekly volunteering at her church. She has served on the LSEF Board 9 years.
